Project flow
From workflow mapping to production-ready screens.
The page now keeps the process simple and visual. Instead of dense explanation, the narrative moves from process, to design-system foundations, to the three underwriting states that matter most in the product experience.

A system for dense insurance work.
The design-system slide groups the original foundations together: color, typography, controls, input fields, tables, and data visualization. The goal is to show that the portal was not only a set of screens, but a reusable operating language.

Workflow state
Started
Opportunity intake and underwriter review
Primary screens
Opportunity Dashboard, Opportunity Overview, and Program Structure Review
The start of the workflow is now presented as a concrete screen sequence. The dashboard creates the entry point, the opportunity overview gathers account and product context, and the underwriter review surface supports structured program assessment before quote work begins.

Workflow state
Rated
Quote assembly, comparison, and proposal creation
Primary screens
Quote Summary, Quote Proposal, and supporting quote views
The rated state focuses on making quote decisions easier to compare and prepare. Instead of treating rating as an abstract status, this slide shows the actual quote summary and proposal surfaces that help an underwriter move from analysis to client-ready output.

Workflow state
Issued
Policy completion and final workflow progression
Primary screens
Policy Dashboard and final quote summary state
The issued state is simplified around completion visibility. The policy dashboard clarifies what has moved beyond quote work, while the final summary artifact keeps the issued path connected to the same decision record used earlier in the portal.

A clearer portal story, built around real screens.
This revision removes the confusing abstract cards and turns the STARR case study into a straightforward sequence of slides. Each workflow state now pairs a short explanation with the original product artifacts, making the page easier to scan and more faithful to the work.
